What is Animal Chiropractic?

Animal chiropractic is a form of complementary therapy that focuses on diagnosing and treating misalignments in the spine and musculoskeletal system. It uses manual adjustments to help restore proper alignment, improve mobility, and alleviate pain.

Benefits of Animal Chiropractic

Pain Relief and Improved Mobility

Misalignments in the spine or joints can lead to chronic pain, stiffness, and mobility issues. Chiropractic adjustments can help alleviate these symptoms, especially in aging animals or those recovering from injuries.

Enhanced Athletic Performance

Animals involved in competitive activities can benefit from chiropractic care. By improving flexibility, spinal alignment, and overall mobility, adjustments help reduce injury risk and optimize performance.

Improved Nervous System Function

Correcting spinal misalignments can promote better nerve communication between the brain and body, potentially enhancing an animal's overall well-being.

Non-Invasive, Drug-Free Treatment

For pet owners seeking alternatives to medication or surgery, chiropractic care offers a non-invasive, natural option that leverages the body's natural healing processes.

Post-Surgical Recovery

Chiropractic care can aid animals recovering from surgery, helping reduce stiffness, improve range of motion, and prevent compensatory issues where the animal might overuse one part of the body to protect the injured area.

Real-Life Example

If your dog is not able to jump up into the car this week but could last week, this could very well be a chiropractic issue. Even your house pet asks its body to do some difficult tasks.
